An Introduction To Our Brand

Welcome to Aspiring Creative! Take a look at our homepage, about page and social media to find out more about us - but we also thought we would do a little introductory post!

How was the brand created?

After doing some research, we realised that there is much more of a gender misrepresentation in the creative industries than people think.

Statistics from Campaign Live in 2018 showed that only 12% of creative directors are women. However, the misrepresentation is not just in high-profile positions because 60% of creative students are female, but only 30% end up working full-time, according to their website.

We also conducted primary research through surveys which supported our secondary research findings. Our primary research showed that 82% of respondents believed there should be more females in high-profile positions within the creative industries. 64% of respondents also believed that females are underrepresented in the industries.

We want to change that by inspiring our female creatives through some amazing content.

What are your main aims?

  • Connect with young female creatives and help guide them to where they want to be in the creative industries.
