In this monthly series we are bringing you all the virtual events you can attend to help boost your career in the creative industries, all from the comfort of your own home! So, make sure you have Zoom and a Cuppa at the ready.

2. Creativity isn't Neutral: how creatives can help solve climate change by Futerra Live


Price: Free


Description: This event gives a detailed insight into how those in the creative industries can help to combat climate change and features two main speakers.










3. A DIY guide to personal branding and PR by Creative Entrepreneurs


Price: Free


Description: This event features guest speaker Lucy Werner, founder of The Wern.

She will talk about how you can establish your own personal brand, how to build popularity online, and even how you can write press releases and attract the attention of journalists (in a positive way!).







4. Get Drawing Butterflies: Art for Wellbeing Workshop by Ricefield Arts



Price: Free


Description: This event is led by artist Pui Lee and is intended to be a mindful art lesson, which is especially important during these difficult times, where stress seems to be felt by almost everyone at the moment. It will allow you to relax and take a step back by drawing some beautiful (you guessed it!) butterflies.







5. Creative Power Hour-An Online Creative Workshop by Shanna Shrum


Price: Donation


Description: This workshop will give you the freedom to create whatever you would like in the time given. It also sets some time aside for meditation which is needed more than ever during these stressful times. It will allow you to take a nice little break in-between January deadlines!








6. Creative Collages by Monica Mardare



Price: Donation


Description: This workshop takes place every Monday and will allow you to create images through both painting and collages using a variety of materials, and Monica (the host) will tell you a bit about the history of collages from when they first started to today.
